This mostly started when Shelly made Chris cry, then it was on…
This is my Anti-Hero origin story so to speak:
HUMAN RELATIONS
I spoke with Tamara who everyone including her thought she was our HR manager. I spoke with her about the continual problems with management, Shelly in particular. 6 women had exchanged emails with Tamara detailing the abuse prior to senior management being brought into the situation. (Tim and Anthony and Jason had been informed many many times over the course of the 10 years I’ve been there tho) several people had also met with Tamara in person on several occasions to discuss how it was affecting the group mentally and physically. She then brought to your attention Tim how extremely toxic, and dire the situation was. Tamara wrote me and said “He said moving forward any employee that have issues / problems/complaints will need to come see him directly from now on as he and Anthony are responsible for all the HR related issues such as these. I told him to expect a lot of people in his office soon to discuss an array of items and concerns.” -“I am disappointed.”
Afterwards tho surprisingly no one came to your office to discuss it right away did they Tim. that was because no one trusted you to handle the situation. (But that’s what you wanted all along right?) People knew it would make them a target if they came to you. So we reconvened. we as a whole discussed things and I wrote up some notes so I/we could discuss potentials to help bring a solution for EVERYONE, even the abuser. But after kindly giving you MY NOTES*** we were told that we couldn’t have a “secret meeting” to discuss how to handle things. It wasn’t fair to Shelly. Even tho Tim was the HR manager at the time, we were denied a basic work right. We were denied twice for a team meeting in fact. When we asked to speak with you when Shelly was on vacation we hoped we could do it in a professional manner. We did it while she was away on purpose knowing it was the only time we would have to possibly speak candidly with you without her and Randy’s very watchful eyes. Several girls told Tamara they were too afraid to speak about the abuse with Shelly in the room or even building because of retaliation. we told you she would retaliate. You didn’t listen.
THE FIRST MEETING 8/26
I was late to work that day on purpose remember you paid me to come in late. I arrived right before the meeting knowing Shelly would be pissed because I had CLEANED UP the department while she was on vacation. Do you hear that? You paid me to come in late, knowing she was going to treat me like shit. So I arrived as the meeting was beginning. Why would you do that if you or her weren’t in the wrong? You said “people were throwing the word harassment around” at this meeting. THAT PISSED ME OFF! The meeting was confusing and you can listen if you like to the audio but its really a confusing wasn’t of time. A blubbering mess. (The second meeting is the important one and make sure you listen to the very end.)
RETALTION 8/27&8/28
that night Shelly txt one of the girls about us being “Bitches”. the following morning she cornered Jackie to verbally assault her before work had even begun. So Ashley and I clocked out and left we had plans to wait until management arrived to discuss the next step. In the meantime while Ashley and I discussed our next step here comes 6 other employees out the side door. You see Shelly couldn’t stop running her mouth in the back laughing calling us idiots. she thought she had finally forced Ashley and I out exactly what she wanted. Management was alerted and after Anthony waddled his way into the building about an hour later he sent everyone home on Tims orders. Tim payed everyone in sewing department for a full day + of work. Yet the only person that should have been sent home or reprimanded in any way was Shelly. So why is it Tim that you fought so hard for Shelly?! Because to everyone at PAC as well as anyone whom has heard the story’s of the meeting and abuse, the first question everyone asks is “WHAT IS SHE HOLDING OVER HIS HEAD”? Why is it that you would be willing to lose potentially EVERYTHING for her? Loyalty? I wish I got treated half as good as Shelly staying on the payroll?!. a punishment for harassing an entire department of women. Having knee surgery months later on our insurance. Is she still on it? Are you still paying for her cell phone? Did she get a severance check? Do you need to call your lawyer about this too?
SECOND MEETING 8/29
Second audio recording from our meeting with Shelly after everyone walked out was shocking and explosive. So if nothing else everyone can just watch that one video. It could be a training video of what not to do during a meeting about harrassment. You guys make me sick! Who was the victim in it was hard to tell? ‘I CAN LEAVE IF I WANT TO?!’
8 people walked out that morning not one or two. Eight people. Most of whom have been with the company for 5 to 18 years, but I guess that wasn’t enough. It wasn’t 26 like Shelly.
REVIEWS/OTHERS GETTING RAISES 12/23
I had a problem when I took on the assistant job FOR NOTHING for you. I came to speak with you about my salary after being verbally attacked and called a “queen” by Jerry. because he was on a power trip. no one shared I was acting manager and I didn’t know everything(although you already knew that RIGHT JERRY). But thanks for the help. Im crying in the office snot running down my face. Jason blows past me like this is a normal day. Anthony doesn’t even look up from his papers and I practically had to beg to speak with Tim about this incident, TWICE. The only person that even noticed me was Andy who looked horrified! (Thank you Andy you’re the only MAN that has any sense and decency in that office, you were always so kind to me.) Tim and Anthony told me to wait for reviews. It was coming! Be patient. They said.
Accept Mel didn’t have to be patient for her raise when she took on payroll for a short period. And barb didn’t have to be patient when she stole our departments responsibility/wage chart WE MADE. And Chris didn’t have to wait and got a quarter raise when Tim NOTICED She made less than the rest of the others in the sewing department when barb brought you, that responsibility/wage chart. The paper that was stolen from us! I’m disappointed in you barb I/we trusted you! We would have been more than happy to include you. you took that from us and made it harder! You printed THE NOTES*** for us and said whatever I sent you was “private I don’t look or get involved with your stuff.” So I /we trusted you. Then she/they benefited. But still I got nothing until. I DID EXTRA WORK AND GOT NOTHING, nothing extra than that 5% that everyone else could get by default. Barb stole something and got a raise and Chris didn’t do anything EXTRA.

FIRST REVIEW 1/29
I got the first official review ever from PAC.
It was new so they put together several to make one review. Only 85% of the review was about emotions. Yeah we’ve all been emotional. Why wouldn’t we base it on skills, productivity, participation, WILLINGNESS TO LEARN EVEN! But I got the standard 5% like everyone else. You tell people the longer they’re with the company the more money they will make. Then why is it that ive been at PAC for 10 years this October and I’m making the same as fern when she was there half my time? She did A QUARTER OF THE JOB I DID! Why did those people get raises and I had to wait longer? What a fucking slap in the face! For all that work I got the same pay raise as EVERYONE around me. WORTH THE WAIT GUYS! Was I supposed to be happy you gave it to me two whole weeks in advance? Are you fucking for real!?! What do you think that shows the people around me? That no matter how hard they work, they’ll never get anything EXTRA for going above and beyond. Or wait was that just because it was me? The whole entire point of the review idea was to hold people accountable for their own actions and responsibilities And their wage should have been based on that, but you had to fix THAT PROBLEM FIRST! because I didn’t think it was fair that I was running two extra machines pennants and tire stacks, (I’m only one of 3 women in our shop that can run those two skilled machines). I also reorganized the stock and took on the duty’s of inventory. I’m the lead on Biggby. And any job for that matter. Banner stands. I grommet. I run the wind venter. I learned all the assistant duties and when my boss took a three week leave of absence for a medical reason I was the only one who stepped up and played assistant. All to ensure Shelly wouldn’t come back. When we were the busiest we have ever been here in my almost 10 years. So I told Jason and Anthony I was not happy with it and signed my review, waiting to see what those around me had received.
For some dumb ass reason I was thinking you may actually take into account that just because my coworkers share the same job title we do not share the same responsibility or work loads. But you already knew we don’t share the same work loads. Because we tried telling you that with a job responsibility chart and our wages in sewing.
MEETING OVER REVIEW 2/11
At my request
I’m making 3 dollars more than the girls I trained. Those girls have been here 6 months. One of them doesn’t even speak English. 21$ as a skilled laborer after 10 years experience! so I Ask for a meeting with Tim multiple days in a row before finally getting a second meeting with Anthony and Jason about my review. You know the review that I/We asked for in the first place. to hold people accountable. Instead of just “throwing a few bucks at people every few years”. I was snubbed/retaliated against on organizing a warehouse, inventory, learning the assistant jobs, running sewing department for 3 weeks. You see 5% raise is the max they’re giving. And since you never gave a “living wage raise” what was that 3.5%? well I got the same raise that everyone around me got. But since you were “not hiring for the assistant job” and since “inventory isn’t a real job” they didn’t see why I felt I deserved more than anyone around me!
Anthony Says “WHAT DO YOU WANT LIKE A QUARTER?” i said “I don’t know Anthony what is it worth to you?” -Thanks so much that 7 extra dollars a week! It really sealed your fate! You’re a multi-million dollar company? gluttony isn’t that a sin? Before this meeting Jason I actually thought things may be looking up when you took over one day. But no I was wrong. Very wrong, We all were. I enjoyed the two of you going round in circles after telling me we were up in revenue only to take it back and say ‘well same amount of revenue just smaller jobs.’ Because that’s the lie we’re trying to force feed sewing. Can’t do 50 hours of work In 40 hours. But you’ve sure tried since shelly left and our productivity has SKYROCKETED! so you just piled the work on and kept it coming! even taking on jobs we don’t have the means to do(but well get back to that) Has anyone else at PAC received their reviews yet, other than sewing? Yeah I have real faith that we would ever get one again.
You were wrong about me wanting the assistant position tho, I NEVER wanted that. I did it to ensure we could show we didn’t NEED shelly I did it so Shelly wouldn’t come back! walking out was hard as hell for all those girls! (I’m proud of you all) To have to do the first time around I didn’t want them to have to make the choice again. So I stepped up for my team, knowing you don’t protect anyone.
my departure
We doubled our work load when we forced Shelly out for harassment not giving you an option. you gave Shelly the abuser the option to come back tho, just work in a different department. You then harassed us (the sewing department) for almost 6 full months that she may be coming back, “she’s been calling asking about coming back” it wears on your soul not knowing if the abuse will return. But it’s harder knowing you don’t have a support system at the top. That’s why we’ve lost 5 people since the second meeting(that and our pay/benifits is shit). They saw you didn’t want to make a change.
And lastly after harassing us Tim with constant lack of updates on Shelly’s return to work (which is INSANE that we as a team were all willing to let Shelly come back just in a different department! (After some of us TOLD YOU WE WERE HAVING NIGHTMARES, Anthony/Jason)
Tim we haven’t seen you but for less than 10ish minutes in total in the last 6 months since shelly left. then you want to come back and offer us pizza and more pizza next week or whatever you want (meaning food). You can choke on that pizza they want a livable wage. THEY WANT RESPECT. Most of those people have been there for 10 to 40 years!!!! Pizza, Because you and the rest of the sales people up front can’t seem to communicate and filter a schedule amongst yourselves? Before dropping 70 hours of work on us in one week. Telling us “everything has to go, we can’t push it back and it has to be perfect!” “Well it can be up to an 1/8th of an inch off on the tape job.”right Tim. SO PERFECT. You know the job you LIED to the customer and told them they were getting WELDED instead of TAPED!!! Pretty fucked up huh!? Your lack of leadership and seeing that you only ‘care’ about people when it benefits you, that was the catalyst. Being told for MONTHS that we would never get pizza again or food because we asked for reviews instead. Then getting pizza because you FINALLY how exhausted we are. Slap in the face!
Now back to Those girls in sewing most of them are the hardest workers IN YOUR SHOP! 24$ an hour that’s what an AVERAGE skilled worker in Indiana makes. How much are you making Patrick?At PAC we praising the slackers, John was such a great worker right Tim!? We still compare people to how great of a worker John was!
I think your father and mother who started the business would be ashamed of how it’s going. Your actions. Will you show them these documents? Will you show them to Lisa how about jessie? You talk about family like it’s so important to you. then give people more than 3 weeks of vacation time after 10 years!! It must be nice to be able to escape in your Florida home for vacation any time you want! Others don’t have a place to escape this circus you have them in. You took away 4-10s after you offered it to us. only to give us more than 40 hours of work a week! ANTHONY DOESN’T KNOW HOW TO SCHEDULE or do his job in general. What is it you do exactly, again? It’s hard to tell because we only see you at breaks and lunches. what does this company have to offer to anyone exactly? Except for TOXIC MASCULINITY!
Tim I’ve been here for 10 years. Can you tell me three things you know about me? outside of I’m a bad ass who works hard! I didn’t think so, so let me tell you a few things about me before I go:
Ive been with my amazing husband for almost 11 years. He does media and marketing and he helped me build this.
We have a scholar athlete daughter who I’m trying to teach her to not accept this kind of treatment from anyone.
And Im a humanitarian with a strong sense of justice!

I’m not a person of god but I am a person of morals. I know the way that gene is treated is by Anthony, Rick, Greg and Jerry is completely unacceptable and you should all be DEEPLY ASHAMED OF YOURSELF! A few of you hide behind that bible of yours and you truly make me sick! As far as Tim, I don’t believe you treat gene poorly and that is the ONLY REASON that has saved you from me taking legal action against your company. For harassment, sexism, discrimination, and mental anguish, among other things. I don’t necessarily think you’re a bad person, just clearly an ignorant one. Hopefully now that you’ve been made very aware it won’t happen again. You have no more excuses! You need to take a good hard look at the people you bend over backwards for and the people you fuck over in the process. When there is no repercussions for bad employees and no reward for good employees, that must mean you work at PAC. In the end of this, I’m going to move on. I’m going to forgive you and I’m going to continue to live a good life far away from this toxic environment. I sincerely hope my coworkers take a hard look around at how you have been and are currently being treated! If you’re treated well, then I bet you’re a shitty employee! I’m talking to you Patrick! Since all he has to do is “show up”, right Anthony. Since he’s “worked there a long time”.
